Price alerts

Get alerts when
vacation package
prices change.

A vacation price alert tracks one specific package: a resort, travel dates, number of nights and departure city. TripRadr emails you when its price drops, falls below a price you choose, or goes up. Alerts are free with an account, you can set several, and you book directly with the travel site you choose.

Why use price alerts?

A smarter way to find the best deals

  • Save time

We do the checking for you, so you don't have to look at the same package every day.

  • Spot a better price

Be among the first to know when the price of a package you're watching drops or changes.

  • Track multiple trips

Watch several resorts, dates and departure cities at once, each with its own alert.

  • Plan with confidence

See where the price stands before you decide, then book with the travel site you choose.

Alert options

Choose when you want to be notified

Each alert has its own rule, so you can watch one package for any drop and another for a target price.

  • The price drops

Get an email any time the package goes below the price you saw when you set the alert.

  • Falls below a price

Pick your own target in whole dollars per person, and we'll email you when the package gets there.

  • Goes up

Optionally hear about increases of $50 or more, so you know when a good price may be slipping away.

What an alert tracks

An alert watches one exact package, not a whole destination:

  • The same resort
  • The same travel dates and number of nights
  • The same departure city
  • Priced per person in Canadian dollars, for 2 adults

Prices and availability change often, so an alert is a heads-up, not a price guarantee. TripRadr does not sell or book travel.

Properties to watch

Set price alerts for the resorts you're watching

Alerts follow a specific property and its dates, not a destination. Open a resort page, pick your dates and departure city, then tap the bell on the package.

Frequently asked questions

Vacation price alerts: FAQs

How do vacation price alerts work?

You set an alert on a specific package: a resort, travel dates, number of nights and departure city. TripRadr re-checks the price on the travel sites it compares, several times a day. When the price drops, falls below your target, or rises by $50 or more (if you chose that), we email you with the new price and a link to compare every site. Each email also links to manage or stop the alert.

Are TripRadr price alerts free?

Yes. Creating an account and setting price alerts costs nothing. Anyone can search packages, and a free account lets you see the price comparison and track packages. TripRadr does not sell or book travel, so you never pay us anything to use alerts. Alerts arrive by email, and text message alerts are coming soon.

Do I need an account to set a price alert?

Yes, because we need an email address to send the alert to and a place for you to manage your alerts. Sign-up takes a minute, and you can sign in with the same account on any device. Once you have an account, you can also save trips and see the full price comparison.

What does a price alert track?

An alert follows one exact package: the same resort, dates, number of nights and departure city, priced per person in Canadian dollars for two adults. It does not track a whole destination. If you want to watch a different resort or different dates, set another alert for that package.

How often will I receive alerts?

You only get an email when something meets your rule: a drop, a price below your target, or an optional increase of $50 or more. We don't repeat the same alert at the same price, so a later email means the price has moved again. You can pause or delete an alert at any time, and every alert ends by itself once the trip has departed.

Which travel sites does TripRadr track?

TripRadr compares the same package across the Canadian travel sites it covers, and the alert follows the best price it finds. Coverage varies by resort, route and date, so not every site prices every package. See the travel brands page for the sites TripRadr compares.

Can I track multiple trips or destinations?

Yes. You can set as many alerts as you like, for different resorts, dates or departure cities, and manage them all from the Price Alerts page in your account. Each alert can have its own rule, and you can pause, edit or delete any of them without affecting the others.

Can I book through TripRadr when a price drops?

No. TripRadr is an independent comparison site and does not take bookings. The alert email links to a comparison of the package across travel sites, and you book directly with the one you choose. Prices and availability can change at any time, so an alert is a heads-up, not a guarantee that a price will last.
