TripRadr

How TripRadr makes money

TripRadr is free to use. When you click through to a travel site from a TripRadr comparison, that site may pay us an affiliate commission if you go on to book. It costs you nothing extra, and it never changes the prices or the order we show.

Affiliate links

Some of the “View offer” and “Continue to book” buttons on TripRadr lead to travel sites that have an affiliate arrangement with us. A tracking tag on the link tells that site the visit came from TripRadr. If you book, the site may pay us a commission out of its own margin.

You pay the same price whether you arrive through TripRadr or go to the site directly. We still take no bookings and handle no payments: you book and pay on the travel site, under its terms.

What commission does not change

  • The prices shown. They come from each travel site, not from us.
  • The order of results. Sites are ranked by price, and the cheapest price gets the “Best price” badge whether or not we earn from it.
  • Which sites are compared. A site is included because shoppers can book with it, not because it pays.
  • Any site’s treatment relative to another. Every travel site is handled the same way.

If a travel site ever pays for a featured position, it will be labelled “Sponsored” wherever it appears and kept visibly separate from the price ranking. A sponsored label will not stand in for a price: the cheapest result still earns the “Best price” badge independently.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell travel, add fees or mark up prices.
  • We do not sell your personal information. See our privacy policy.
  • We do not promise the lowest price on the market. Prices change and not every site is covered; see how TripRadr works.

Questions about how we make money

How does TripRadr make money?

Through affiliate links. When you click through to a travel site and book, that site may pay TripRadr a commission from its own margin. Searching and comparing are free.

Do I pay more because of the affiliate link?

No. The price on the travel site is the same whether you arrive through TripRadr or go there directly.

Does commission affect the ranking or the prices shown?

No. Prices come from each travel site and results are ordered by price. The cheapest price earns the “Best price” badge whether or not we earn from it.

Will you ever show paid placements?

Possibly. A paid or featured position would always be labelled “Sponsored” and kept separate from the price ranking.

Does TripRadr sell or book trips?

No. You book and pay on the travel site you choose. TripRadr takes no bookings and handles no payments.
