Peel District School Board

Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB)
Elementary classes end Jun 29 and secondary exams end Jun 28; the school year formally ends Jun 30. Seven PA days each for elementary and secondary; some secondary schools adjust theirs, so check the school.

When do schools start in Ontario in 2026?
Schools in Ontario start between September 1 and September 8 in 2026, depending on the board. Toronto District School Board starts September 8, York Region District School Board starts September 8, Ottawa-Carleton District School Board starts September 1. Kindergarten and preschool students may start gradually.
When do schools end in Ontario in 2027?
Ontario elementary classes end between June 25 and 30, and secondary between June 23 and 28, depending on the board. For example TDSB elementary ends June 29, Ottawa-Carleton elementary June 25 and Peel June 30. Secondary schools also have exam days and PA days at the end of June.
